A company’s vision is only as strong as the leaders who guide it. The Edenbridge Capital Board of Directors is comprised of distinguished professionals from finance, academia, and technology. Chairman

CPA Njuguna J. Ngumunu

Njuguna is a senior finance professional with over 35 years’ experience in accounts and financial management. He was formerly Financial Controller at Kenchic Ltd (12 years and Toyota Kenya (7 years), Commercial Accountant at Unilever- Kenya among others. Throughout his engagements, Njuguna has been instrumental in streamlining financial management and reporting to meet international standards.

He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several local private companies. A trained accountant, Njuguna is a B. Com graduate from the University of Nairobi, a practicing accountant under ICPA(K), a Certified Public Secretary -ICPS(K) and a member of Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM).

Outside his official functions, Njuguna serves as an Honorary Treasurer of Karen Lang’ata District Association (KLDA). He also serves as a committee member in several self-help associations. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports activities, travel and leisure reading.

Dr. Grace Wangui Ngariko

Dr. Wangui holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree from the University of Nairobi. She has attended management courses at the Kenya School of Government and is also a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya with over 11 years of experience.

Reuben Mwangi

Mr. Reuben K. Mwangi is a career banker with over 19 years of experience in the commercial banking and microfinance sectors having served as the CEO of Century Microfinance Bank.

He holds a BSc. Applied Statistics Degree from Maseno University and has attended several management and leadership trainings. He has held various positions in operations, Credit Risk, Retail banking and Business development rising through the ranks.

Besides being a Director in several local firms, Mr. Kimani is also a full member of Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is also an active Rotarian and has been a fellow at Accion: an initiative by the Center for Financial Inclusion that endeavours to advance inclusive finance.

Sam Waweru

Mr. Waweru is a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) graduate of the University of Nairobi and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K). He holds a wealth of experience in management having served as the Managing Director of Housing Finance Group.

He began his career at the international audit and advisory firm of Ernst & Young in 1992 as an Accountant/ Auditor. He has also held the following positions prior to joining Housing Finance; Senior Internal Auditor at Lonrho Africa Management Services; Head of Internal Audit at Uchumi supermarkets; and Head of Internal Audit, Aga Khan Health Services, East Africa.

During his career life, Sam has gained working exposure in different countries which include about ten African countries and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Beth Kimathi Muigai

Beth Kimathi Muigai is an entrepreneur and seasoned banker with 15 years’ experience in the banking and manufacturing sector having held management positions at Co-operative Bank, National bank of Kenya, Equity Bank, British American Tobacco Kenya (BAT), Standard Chartered Bank and Kenya Commercial Bank where she excelled remarkably.

She is the founder and CEO of Peta Consulting Limited, a training and business management consulting organization. Beth brings a deep understanding of both the issues facing clients and the practical challenges involved in implementing solutions especially in the financial sector.

She is a seasoned professional in business development, relationship management, funds mobilization, customer service and strategic management. Beth holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship from JKUAT, an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Marketing) from University of Nairobi.

Juliet Ongwae

Juliet is the Senior SupTech Specialist at the Cambridge SupTech Lab, University of Cambridge. With over 20 years of experience in DFS, she specializes in spearheading digital transformation initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia. Juliet has previously held roles at MicroSave Consulting and Musoni Microfinance where she undertook various roles. She has also served for more than 10 years in the Central Bank of Kenya. She holds a PhD from the University of Manchester.
